Privacy Policy for AdTech.ai

Last Updated: April 9, 2026

Welcome to AdTech.ai ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information and advertising data are handled securely. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and Google Ads optimization software (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you or your business. Because our Service is designed to automate and optimize Google Ads, the majority of the data we collect comes directly from your connected Google accounts.

A. Information You Provide to Us

  • Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your email address.
  • Billing Information: If you upgrade to a PRO or Agency tier, payment details are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We only store your Stripe Customer ID and Subscription ID; we do not store your credit card numbers.
  • Manual Inputs: Any business context, target locations, campaign prompts, or URLs you type into our Campaign Builder or Whitelist features.

B. Information Collected via Google Ads API

When you authenticate via Google OAuth and link your Google Ads account, you grant us permission to access specific data on your behalf. We fetch and process:

  • Account Hierarchy: Campaign names, Ad Group names, and structure.
  • Advertising Assets: Search terms, active keywords, negative keywords, ad copy (headlines and descriptions), and final landing page URLs.
  • Performance Metrics: Aggregated metrics such as cost, clicks, impressions, and conversions.
  • Authentication Tokens: OAuth refresh tokens required to maintain a persistent connection to your ad account.

C. Automatically Collected Information

  • Website Context: If you provide a landing page URL, our Service scrapes the public HTML text of that page to understand your business context for AI analysis.
  • Error Logs: We use Sentry to log application crashes and errors to maintain platform stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly to provide, maintain, and improve the AdTech.ai Service. Specifically, we use your data to:

  • Provide Core Functionality: Analyze your search terms to identify wasted spend (N-Grams), suggest structural Alpha/Beta or SKAG splits, and push exact match keywords to Google Ads.
  • Power AI Analysis: We feed your campaign data, search terms, and scraped business context into Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate contextual optimization recommendations.
  • Automate Workflows: If you enable "Auto-Pilot" or "Full Autonomy Mode," we use your stored OAuth tokens to run daily background sweeps and apply optimizations automatically.
  • Process Payments: Manage your subscription tiers, billing, and account access.
  • Communicate: Send you email notifications regarding applied Auto-Pilot optimizations, billing updates, and platform changes.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

AdTech.ai's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • Limited Use: We only use your Google Ads data to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the requesting application's user interface (e.g., ad optimization, campaign building).
  • No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or lease your Google Ads data to third parties.
  • No Human Prying: Human employees do not read your Google Ads data unless you explicitly request support, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required to comply with applicable laws.

4. How We Share Your Information

We limit the sharing of your data to trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

  • AI Providers (Google): To analyze your search terms and generate ad copy, aggregated, non-personally identifiable search data and business context are sent to Google's API via secure Batch processing. (Note: Depending on your settings, some data may also be processed locally on our isolated servers, which shares no data externally).
  • Payment Processors (Stripe): For secure subscription billing and invoicing.
  • Infrastructure & Analytics (Sentry, Redis): For secure database caching, message brokering, and error tracking.

5. Data Security and Storage

We implement robust, industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

  • Token Encryption: Your Google Ads OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using high-grade symmetric encryption (Fernet) before being stored in our database.
  • Data Residency: Your data is cached and stored securely in our Redis databases.
  • In-Transit Security: All data transferred between your browser, our servers, and third-party APIs (like Google Ads and Stripe) is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights and Data Control

You have full control over your data and your connection to AdTech.ai.

  • Revoking Access: You can disconnect your Google Ads account from AdTech.ai at any time from our dashboard, or by visiting your Google Account Security settings and revoking AdTech.ai's third-party access.
  • Data Deletion: If you cancel your subscription or delete your account, we will purge your active OAuth tokens, historical optimization data, and cached search terms from our active databases.
  • Opting Out of Automation: You may toggle off "Auto-Pilot" or "Full Autonomy Mode" at any time from the dashboard to stop all background processing.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
